The novel apoc 200 analysis is designed to detect the specific antibodies (anti-Ro) causing congenital heart block. Early detection of auto-antibodies enables expert monitoring, treatment, and prevention of
fatal outcomes.
How does the apoc 200 analysis work?
The apoc 200 analysis is performed on a regular blood sample taken from the mother (5 ml). No intervention is required with the fetus! The blood sample is screened for anti-Ro antibodies using highly specific molecular sensors and presence or absence of anti-Ro antibodies are detected and reported accordingly.
